Privacy Policy — Poker Diary

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Poker Diary ("the App") is a voice-logged poker tournament journal for iPhone. This page explains what data the App handles and where it is stored.

The short version

Poker Diary has no accounts, no server-side storage of your tournaments or hands, and no ads or tracking. Your journal stays on your own device.

What the App stores, and where

Everything you log — tournaments, hands, results, bankroll entries, currencies, and settings — is stored locally on your device. There is no account, no login, and no cloud sync, so this data is not uploaded to a developer-operated server.

Voice logging

Logging by voice uses Apple's speech recognition to convert what you say into text so the App can fill in the entry. The resulting entry is stored on your device like any other. Apple's handling of speech data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

AI hand feedback

The optional AI hand feedback feature is the one part of the App that uses the network: the hand details you choose to submit are sent to a backend service to generate the feedback. If you do not use this feature, nothing is sent. Everything else — logging, stats, bankroll, and pot odds — works fully offline.

What we don't do

Your data, your control

Because everything is stored locally, deleting the App from your device permanently removes the data it holds. There is no separate account to delete, since none exists.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
